DolananKeren has a vision, which is to build the Indonesian action figure ecosystem with local IPs. The toy studio was founded in 2018 by Bayu Arafat, Rizal Ulum/Lumz Laboratory, Michael Chen/Noxturn11, Dikki Markidiz, KatonTerlihat, and Yudi MechaShock.
Their first groundbreaking creation was an ⅙ action figure of Hideo Kojima, which they gave to the legendary game designer on his birthday on August 2018. Since then, they have made some utterly resembling action figures of Indonesian public figures. The most popular are Deddy Corbuzier, Raditya Dika, and Andre Taulany.
DolananKeren doesn’t only make toys from local characters, but they also created figures from international IPs. They’ve made toys out of characters like the Joker, Batman, and the Riddler from The Batman movie, and also Sub Zero from Mortal Kombat to name a few.
As for the local IP, DolananKeren has partnered with movies such as Gundala, Sri Asih, Gatotkaca, and Pengabdi Setan 2. They are hoping that with IPs partnering with Indonesian toy studios, it will help the local toy maker ecosystem to grow.
